For this umeshu you use the "beninanko ume", a variety of nanko ume (plum) that grows only under the sun. In order to maintain their freshness these plums are harvested only in the morning and then marinated in the same day. Also, to make sure that they are used plums ume of quality to get a better final product more bright, our staff with great care I use the best plums.
The umeshu Beninanko contains fup to 1.5 times more plums (beninanko ume) are pickled than normal umeshu.
We recommend drinking it with ice, smooth at room temperature or with soda.
