Soy milk is a beverage food vegetable-based soy commonly spread among asian populations where it can also be a real meal. In the west it is used as a substitute for cow's milk in some diets as the vegan, intolerant to cow's milk protein, lactose and other diets that are deemed healthy. The soy milk "sweet" or "salty", added, respectively, sugar, or flavored with mustard seeds and other additions, is usually consumed in China and Japan, accompanied by special types of bread or with other food characteristic. From soy milk, is also produced from a type of ice cream and popsicles, as well as cheeses such as tofu. This milk must be used to make tofu and it must be duly cooled.
